Philips Norelco do-it-yourself hair clipper Pro Review/Giveaway

Thanks to The Pitch List and Philips Norelco I was recently given the opportunity to review the Philips Norelco do-it-yourself hair clipper Pro.
This has to be the easiest way to give yourself a haircut.  I tried it on my 5 year old son and my step-son also tried it out for himself.
My little man after I was done cutting his hair.
It was so easy for me to cut my son's hair because I didn't have to keep stopping to find a different attachment.  You just turn the bottom and it moves up & down to desired length settings.  It also has a 180 degree rotating head that helps for all the hard-to-reach areas.    It can be used cordless or with a cord.  Which was also a bonus because I didn't have to worry about tripping over a cord when I was giving him a haircut.  I am sure those of you who have kids know how squirmy a 5 year old is.  This really simplified things for us.

My step-son said that he was surprised with how close it shaved.  He used it on his hair and face. He also found it made cutting his hair easier.  He has been cutting his own hair for over 10 years and said he is very happy with the clippers and will be purchasing his own.

The features we liked best:
  • 20 secured length settings from 3/64 to 1 3/16
  • Precision trimmer (for contouring and touch ups)
  • 180 degree rotating head (really great for getting the back and sides)
  • Corded & Cordless Use 1 hour charge for 60 minutes of use
  • WASHABLE (yes washable...I love this part!!!)
Are you ready for this....  I was shocked to find the Philips Norelco do-it-yourself hair clipper priced at $39.99.  Being frugal imagine how much this will save on hair cuts!  More reason for me to recommend it.

  3. This would be great to have. The one we currently have is on its last leg! I do my husband's head (little hair to trim but we do it!) and my 18 year old's hair (his is so thick!!) it's hard on the trimmers to go from one extreme to the next evidently because in the past 2 years we have gone through 3 trimmers. Would like to find one like we had for 15 years that really worked good. Maybe this is it.
