alpha hydrox: Anti-Wrinkle Enhanced Cream 10% Glycolic AHA Review

Honesty Time: I am 38 going on 39 and my wrinkles are beginning to show.  I am noticing more lines as the years add up.  I know when I was younger I never thought this would bother me.  Well reality check: IT DOES!

I was recently given the opportunity to review Alpha Hydrox Anti-Wrinkle Enhanced Cream  with 10% Glycolic AHA , from Neoteric Cosmetics.  The AHA stands for alpha hydroxy acids.  AHAs are found naturally in foods like citrus fruits, nuts, and sour milk.  The AHA used in the Enhanced Cream is made from sugarcane. 

The Enhanced Cream is:
* For normal skin types
* Effective pH 4
* Helps prevent fine lines & wrinkles
* Refines texture & evens tone
* Improves elasticity
* Fragrance, oil & paraben-free

I was given the 2 oz. size to try and the instructions say to apply it day and night after cleansing your face.  It also states if you are using it during the daytime to use a sunscreen as some irritation may occur.

I was not able to get pictures that would show an actual difference of my face (as you know by now I am a horrible photographer) but I do notice a difference.  I feel a slight tingle when I first put it on.  My face feels tighter right away.  If you have ever used a mud or clay mask for your face, this is what I would compare the tightening feeling to.  I think my skin looks and feels better, as it also exfoliates dead skin cells. Another thing I have noticed is I am having less breakouts.  My face is toner and smoother.  I have been using it for about 3 weeks and I think it is a keeper.

A few years ago I became a label reader.  I had kids, and became concerned about the food they were eating.  I got tired of trying to pronounce the ingredients in the foods that I bought everyday and decided to make a change.  Now, mind you I still buy some of the foods...I have not found a replacement for everything.  But I do have a new snack that I absolutely LOVE!

Simply 7 is a brand that was created for the same reasons I mentioned above.  They wanted to be able to pronounce the products in the food they ate, and know that they were healthy for you.  AND they did not want the food to taste like cardboard.  This is something I have had a hard time finding..a tasty snack that I can feel good serving to my family.  Something my kids will actually eat.

I was able to try many of the different snacks they have:
 
Pomegranate Chips: Sea Salt, Black Pepper, and White Cheddar.
To me they have a hint of sweetness with a touch of seasoning.  They were very good.  I felt like they were a nice light snack.

Lentil Chips:  Sea Salt, Bruschetta, Creamy Dill, & Jalapeno.
The lentil chips seem a little heartier to me.  I could eat the creamy Dill for a meal they are soooo good! I think they are my favorite.

Hummus Chips:  Sea Salt, Spicy Chili Pepper, Roasted Red Pepper, & Tomato Basil
I think my favorite here would be the Spicy Chili Pepper.  Although I love Spicy they were just a tad spicy and smokey so my kids enjoyed eating them as well.

Overall Verdict...
They are amazing.  I love them and will definitely be a customer.  I am still having a hard time picking my favorite.  If you haven't tried them...you should.  All of my family & friends that tasted them thought they were Awesome too!

When I think of fried onions, the first thing that comes to mind is Green Bean Casserole .  I have never been a fan because this was the only way I had ever had fried onions.  I never even thought to use them in other recipes or with other foods. Although, I love onions.

My whole family loved them.  I didn't come up with a NEW recipe, but we ate them on so many different things.  My favorite was Pizza.  My son liked them on hot dogs.  I put them in some hamburger meat before I grilled the burgers...Yummy!  I also put them in my salad and on my baked potato.  I even ate them on a Tuna Salad Sandwich.  We also just snacked on them by themselves.  There are so many ways to eat them.  I recommend you try them for your self and see what you think.

Star Wars Costumes from Costume Discounters REVIEW

Are you a HUGE fan of Star Wars?  We are here.  My son loves the movies and any time they come on television it is a "must" watch for us.  Both of my kids love to dress up and play in different  costumes.  I was given the opportunity to review a Star Wars costume, thanks to Costume Discounters and Tomoson.com.

They have many Star Wars costumes to choose from, and my son had a hard time choosing.  He finally chose the Child Star Wars Jawa Costume.

The Costume is great.  It comes with 4 pieces; a robe, a hood with light up eyes, and 2 belts. AND... It is an officially licensed costume.  He is 6 and it is pretty easy for him to turn the eyes on and off himself.  The switch is right inside the hood and easy to get to.  The whole costume is simple to get on and off as well.  It stays closed with Velcro in the back.

Ola! Granola Say Hello to...YUM! Review and Giveaway

By now you know that I love to try healthy things.  My kids are picky eaters, especially the older they get. Thanks as always to The Pitch List,  I was offered the opportunity to review Ola! Granola.  This was an easy YES for me because I am a granola lover.  I like to eat it on the go, as a cereal with milk and fruit, on top of yogurt, in a trail mix (that I make myself)...  There are so many ways to enjoy granola.

What I think about Ola! Granola:
First, the taste is so YUMMY! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients, like cinnamon, vanilla, orange, sea salt...just to name a few.   I love that I can pronounce all of the ingredients.  There was nothing in it that I had never heard of.  My favorite part:  The fact that it says "Non-GMO" in the oil that they use.  It is Egg, Dairy, and Soy FREE. Ola! Granola is hand baked with 100% Natural Ingredients.  And best of all...My Kids (I checked they were mine) LOVED it.

There are 3 great flavors:

• Cranberry Orange Pecan (my favorite)
• No Nut Vanilla (my son's favorite, he hates nuts)
